Course Aims

Who should attend

The award is aimed at those staff working at a management level who have particular responsibility for the allocation of resources and the training and development of staff in the care sector.

Course Content

• To Complete 8 units - 4 mandatory and 4 optional units, the units chosen must be appropriate for the work function and setting of the learners. Core Units:-
• Unit 1 Use and develop methods and systems to communicate record and report
• Unit 2 Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy and safe practices in the working environment
• Unit 3 Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others
• Unit 5 Develop practices which promote choice, well-being and protection of all individuals
• 42 Optional units to choose from, list on request.
